Who Is Eligible?
Comprehensive eligibility criteria for Cameroonian medical graduates
Educational Requirements
- Final-year medical students or graduates of Cameroonian medical schools
- Must have completed at least 7 years of medical education
- Medical school must be listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools with an ECFMG sponsor note
Language & Registration
- Fluent in English and prepared to take the OET Medicine exam
- Registered with the Ordre National des Médecins du Cameroun (ONMC) board for medical doctors
Required Exams
- USMLE Step 1 (required)
- USMLE Step 2 CK (required)
- Step 3 recommended but optional pre-residency

- Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University of Yaoundé I
- Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Bamenda
- Faculty of Health Sciences, Catholic University of Cameroon
- Faculty of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Douala
- Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Buea
- Faculty of Medicine, University of Ngaoundéré
